Jennifer Greer
Jennifer Greer is a self-taught, detail-obsessed singer / songwriter / pianist who has been singing since she was a little girl. Growing up in a suburb near New York City, poetry was her first love and artistic medium. At 25 she began to write music, being drawn to the piano like a magnet. Jennifer's distinctive voice — which soars from earthy and sensual to sweetly lush — is showcased in her last album "the Apiary," which critics have called "stunning."
Jennifer's songs push the boundaries of pop, by blending jazz, funk and classical tone poem. Her songs tend to be about outer rather than inner subjects, such as stories in the news, characters from books, as well as personal experience.
She is a Winner for Best Adult Alternative CD 2005 from the Muse's Muse. Jennifer won "best unsigned pop artist" from Verbicide magazine in 2008. She performs throughout the Northeast, and also performs as a back-up vocalist for other songwriters around Boston. Jennifer was featured this fall in an article about Boston area artists by photographer/journalist Jeff Haynes. She is currently at work recording her third studio album, to be released in June 2009.

Jeff has been creating music for television and film projects for a number of years and can be heard regularly on such daytime favorites as "One Life to Live", "The Young and the Restless", and "All My Children". An accomplished singer/songwriter, Jeff has written for prime time programming including "CSI", "Everyone Hates Chris" and numerous DVD releases. A fan of all types of music, Jeff is comfortable writing and performing pop, rock, and country but is especially partial to jazz in the style of the great crooners.
A native Chicagoan, Jeff's interest in music began at an early age. His parent's met and married after attending DePaul University's College of Music. Not surprisingly, music was part of the fabric in the Meegan household. At age seven, he began studying piano and drums. By the age of 15, he had his first 4-track recorder and has been writing songs ever since. Today he is a dynamic performer, experienced producer and veteran studio vocalist.
