The track information for every Heavy Hitters CD is available on the website. This is helpful when locating recordings for songs that turn up in your search. For existing clients, the songs you need may be on a CD that is already sitting on your shelf. Or if you come across a particular CD that contains many potentially useful cuts, you can simply request that CD by name.
The Heavy Hitters search engine does not contain a separate CD search. Every search is a title search. However, if you know the full or partial name of a CD, you can search for titles on that CD and then link to a full track listing of the CD.
Example: To find the track listing for the CD Teen Pop v.2, type 'Teen Pop v.2' into the CD Name field of the Title Search page and click Search. This search will return a list of titles that are on a CD with the name 'Teen Pop v.2.' And since we used the exact name of the CD, the results contain only those titles that are on that CD. (Typing only 'Teen Pop' would return titles on the CDs Teen Pop v.1, Teen Pop v.2, Teen Pop v.3, etc.) The default sort order for the Search Results page is alphabetical by title. To see the complete track listing in the proper order for a CD, click on the CD Name link. This will take you to the CD Detail page sorted by cut number.
Also, for titles that appear on CDs other than the one you're interested in, the CD column will indicate Multiple CDs and no cut number is displayed. If every title on the CD you're looking for is also on another CD, you may need to navigate to the Title Detail page (by clicking the Multiple CDs link or the title link) to access the CD name link.
This is the track listing for a Heavy Hitters CD. Like the Search Results page, the CD Detail page includes an MP3 audio clip, Vocal Type, BPM, and a unique ID. But it also includes duration and displays the writers instead of the performer.
To add the currently viewed CD to a list saved with your account, click the Add To My CDs button at the top of the page. This is an easy way to keep track of Heavy Hitters CDs that you have physical copies of or simply want to access quickly on the website. To request a CD, contact Heavy Hitters.
